Who We Are

The Lighthouse began on June 1, 2008, meeting at the Citizens Bank in Springfield, GA. After a few short months, the church outgrew the building and moved to its current location at the Effingham YMCA. God has blessed us in many, many ways and has allowed us to reach out with the Gospel. We are a body of believers that exists to reach our community, our state and our world for Jesus, and to grow healthy followers of Christ and make disciples of all who will accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

We are a church where the Bible is preached, where God is exalted and the Love of Jesus Christ is the focus.

OUR BELIEFS

We affirm the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God and the basis for our beliefs. We accept "The Baptist Faith and Message" (June 14, 2000) as our guide and standard. Learn more...
